Our Story,
Founded in 2024, Hela Foods Lanka Products began with a simple vision:
To bring the power of Matale Central Province of Sri Lanka, traditional Wild garden herbal wisdom to the world. Many traditional herbal teas were undervalued or lost to time. We saw an opportunity to not only revive these heritage remedies but to build a sustainable value chain that empowers local farmers, promotes organic farming, and respects the Earth.
From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a community-driven social enterprise that blends ancient tradition with modern sustainability. Our products are sourced from smallholder farmers practicing eco-friendly and climate-resilient agriculture.
